Riley Motorsports - Parts Manager

Riley Motorsports is a championship winning sports car team and manufacturer looking to bring on an experienced parts manager to be a member of our team. The parts manager is required to travel to all events during the season, which will require time away from home for 4-6 days at a time for the 11-14 events during the season. Leading up to the events, the parts manager is required to submit orders, replenish stock, and ship/receive all incoming parts. While at the track, the parts manager is responsible for retrieving any parts on the teams' or manufacturers' truck. The parts manager is also expected to take on a role on the pit crew such as a fueler, tire runner, etc. Our team is dynamic, efficient, and fast-paced and we expect the parts manager to follow suit in that respect. Responsibilities:

Sending and receiving orders for parts

Inventory management of the transporters

Ensure that all equipment and parts are loaded properly

Presents self in an appropriate and professional manner at all venues, especially while wearing team apparel

Meets schedules, timelines, and deadlines appropriately and safely

Follows all formats of parts ordering and receipt logging in the company’s E2 system

Responsible for his/her assigned duties at the track and in the shop

Understand that the responsibilities of the job may require working outside a normal Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm workday (i.e. staying late or working weekends when required)
Qualifications:

Familiar with E2 (or similar shop based software)

Clean, organized, and presentable work ethic

Professional presentation and appearance

Clean driving record

Satisfactory background check

Willing to drive a dually and tow a gooseneck trailer when needed

Proficient in Microsoft Office software tools and email

Able to lift 75lbs independently

Sustain 10 or more hours consecutive time on your feet

Flexible and able to react quickly to fast-changing scenarios and situations

Manage time, workload, and prioritize tasks and deadlines

Work with minimal supervision

Read and understand drawings, prints, and assembly instructions
