Our Story

The History of Riley Technologies dates back to 1960.  After leaving the Air Force, Bob Riley received an engineering degree from LSU, majoring in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. He worked in the aircraft industry while building several racecars at home. This would soon become a natural progression for Bob to enter the Automotive Field.

Bob Riley would transition to Ford Motor Company in the mid-60s.  His passion for Motorsports and engineering abilities would soon stand out and Bob would eventually contribute to winning efforts at Le Mans on the Ford GT Program.  AJ Foyt began working directly with Bob on many of his future Indy car programs, and from here, he would impact some of the most historical motorsports designs worldwide. Riley would soon partner with some of the most famous constructors in all of motorsports.

Partnering with Gary Pratt (Pratt & Miller) and finally with Mark Scott to become the well-known Riley & Scott organization, which would construct some of the most famous race cars, battling high-budget factory efforts for many years.
