Myers Riley Motorsports heads to Watkins Glen International this week for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen, with Sheena Monk, Felipe Fraga, and Jenson Altzman set to return behind the wheel of the No. 16 Myers Riley Motorsports Ford Mustang GT3.

The six-hour endurance classic marks another key opportunity for the team to continue building momentum in its first season with the Ford Mustang GT3 platform. After recent testing at Watkins Glen, the Myers Riley Motorsports outfit enters the weekend with added confidence as the team continues its push for stronger results and valuable progress in the Bob Akin Award championship as Sheena Monk is a mere 70 points from leading the Bronze championship.

For Fraga, the return to Watkins Glen carries added significance. The Brazilian has a proven track record at the historic New York circuit, including standout performances during his LMP3 days with Riley Motorsports. Fraga was part of multiple winning efforts at The Glen, including an LMP3 victory, and has consistently shown speed and racecraft at one of IMSA’s most demanding venues.

“I’m really looking forward to racing at Watkins Glen,” said Felipe Fraga. “It’s one of my favorite tracks in the U.S., and I always enjoy driving there. We had a strong test, and I think we’re in a good position heading into the weekend. I can’t wait to get back behind the wheel of the Myers Riley Ford Mustang GT3, and hopefully this is the weekend where we can fight for our first podium, or even our first win.”

“We were recently able to test at Watkins Glen, so the enthusiasm heading into the 6 Hour is high,” said Sheena Monk. “In all regards, we’ve been on a positive trajectory, and the entire Myers Riley team continues to put in a tremendous amount of work on our Mustang GT3. With a few races under our belts, we now have a good handle on the Ford platform, and it’s time to start hunting for strong results and continue to progress in the Bob Akin Championship.”

Altzman will join Monk and Fraga for the endurance round, adding another major sports car event to his racing résumé as he prepares for his first six-hour race at Watkins Glen.

“I am looking forward to the Glen with Myers Riley,” said Jenson Altzman. “The team has had great momentum as the sprint season has started, and I’m eager to get back behind the wheel and continue the charge with Sheena and Felipe. Continuous effort from the whole team alongside Ford Racing made for successful sim and testing prep. I will get to check another famous sports car race off the list with it being my first 6hr here, and there’s no other group I would rather be doing it with. Let’s go!”

Watkins Glen International is one of the most iconic circuits on the IMSA calendar, known for its high-speed rhythm, commitment-heavy corners, and demanding multi-class traffic. For Myers Riley Motorsports, the weekend represents both a challenge and an opportunity as the team continues to unlock the potential of the Mustang GT3.

Qualifying will air live on Saturday, June 27 at 3:30 p.m. ET on Peacock and IMSA’s YouTube channel. Fans can watch the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen on Sunday with flag-to-flag coverage on Peacock, while international viewers can follow the race live on IMSA’s YouTube channel.
